Mission Statement

We exist to embody the reconciling love and transforming justice of Christ in Mowbray and beyond.

Rooted in prayer, scripture, and sacrament, we are called to:

• Proclaim the Gospel with courage and clarity, speaking prophetically, living compassionately, and pointing always to Christ’s reconciling love;
• Welcome and honour all people, especially the poor, the excluded, the young, and the displaced, celebrating God’s image in every person;
• Celebrate our unity in diversity through multilingual, intergenerational, and vibrant worship that reflects our Anglican heritage and African context;
• Grow together in faith through intentional discipleship, small groups, and ministries that equip every person to live out their calling;
• Work for justice, healing, and reconciliation, partnering with others to confront injustice, heal division, and build peace in our community, city, and world.

We commit to being a courageous, compassionate, and collaborative church, walking humbly with God, seeking unity in the Spirit, and helping all people flourish in the hope and love of Christ.
