PRAYER SUPPORT FOR BISHOP MARTIN AS HE LEADS A TEAM ON MISSION IN MOZAMBIQUE

(5 – 15 MAY 2023)

We invite you to join us in prayer for Bishop Martin and his team as they proceed on mission in Mozambique.

Bishop Martin has been invited to form and lead a team by Bishop Vicente Msosa and Rev Dr Alison Morgan to conducting parallel training conferences for leaders of Rooted in Jesus (RinJ) and RinJ Junior in Mozambique. RinJ, is a Disciple-making programme that was developed specifically for Africa and with Africa.

The need to train people to make disciples of Jesus is enormous, especially in Northern Mozambique where many people are coming to faith, new churches are being planted all the time. RinJ equips lay leaders as well as clergy to make disciples who will make more disciples in turn (2 Timothy 2:2).

The team will fly to Maputo and on to Quelimane, the headquarters of the Diocese of Zambézia. From there they will be transported to Mocuba where the conference will take place.
